Ravens without top interior defender vs. Colts in Week 1

After examining the Indianapolis Colts' final injury report of Week 1, where do the Baltimore Ravens stand health-wise entering this game?

On Friday afternoon, the Ravens ruled two players out -- defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and linebacker Teddye Buchanan (knee).

Glenn Erby of Ravens Wire provided some insight into what Madubuike's absence could mean for this game:

"Madubuike’s absence leaves Baltimore without its most disruptive interior pass rusher for a matchup," Erby wrote. "His ability to collapse the pocket and create penetration against the run would have been valuable against one of the NFL’s most explosive running backs."

Buchanan, a fourth-round pick by Baltimore in 2025, would start 13 games as a rookie. He recorded 93 total tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass deflection.

Lastly, wide receiver Devontez Walker (groin) is questionable. Walker has appeared in 21 games over two seasons, totaling seven receptions for 157 yards and four touchdowns. Walker has played 360 special teams snaps during that span as well.
