HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — For just the second time in franchise history, the Rocket City Trash Pandas are heading to the postseason.

The Trash Pandas clinched a playoff berth on Friday night after the Birmingham Barons lost to the Knoxville Smokies.
Rocket City will host Knoxville in Game 1 of the best-of-three Southern League North Division Series on Tuesday, September 15, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
The Trash Pandas currently sit at 70-65 with two regular-season games remaining.
