Denver Broncos shutdown cornerback Patrick Surtain II enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign, earning his fourth Pro Bowl selection and a Second-Team All-Pro nod. Surtain recorded one interception and 12 pass deflections and allowed 305 passing yards, one touchdown, and a 66.6 passer rating across 14 regular-season games. He missed three contests with a pectoral strain. He also added one pass breakup in the playoffs.
Surtain enters the first year of his four-year, $96 million contract extension he signed in September 2024. He is scheduled to earn a fully guaranteed $7.632 million base salary, a $10 million option bonus which was paid on March 15, and $17.832 million in cash, while carrying a $16.832 million cap charge.

In addition, if he makes a Pro Bowl or All-Pro selection, he will earn $5 million more next year. As a result, his total cash value jumps from $17.832 million to $22.832 million in 2026 and could jump from $17 million to $22 million in 2027.
