Well, the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers bullpen looks even nastier in these playoffs.

Milwaukee relievers have allowed just a single run in 28⅔ innings during the first six games of the National League playoffs.

They may be overdue for a cool nickname, but they've been freezing bats all season. However, it's taken a lights-out six games against the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers for those who doubted the Brewers to notice.

Milwaukee became the first team in MLB postseason history to pitch five perfect innings of relief – 15 batters faced, 15 batters retired.

And after the Brewers scored a pair of insurance runs in the eighth inning of their 7-4 victory in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series on Monday, Oct. 12, closer Trevor Megill wasn't even needed to get the final three outs in the ninth.

The bullpen also pitched 4⅔ innings of shutdown relief in Game 1, allowing only two hits.
