Thousands of football fans tune into NFL RedZone each Sunday to both watch their favorite team play and monitor league-wide activity. That heartfelt joy of watching the "octo-box" of games was put on hold, however, as both RedZone and the NFL app were reportedly down for fans across America.
Many viewers missed the opening Sunday kickoffs, and some went to social media to ensure the NFL was aware of what was happening.
Here's the latest news on whether or not NFL RedZone is currently down after some early technical difficulties.

Is NFL RedZone down?
At the moment, NFL RedZone is up and running for most customers. There have still been some reported outages across the country, but Scott Hansen's voice can be heard by more who have access to the program.
Earlier, however, many NFL fans were unable to access the stream. Both the NFL App and RedZone were down during the opening kickoff.

1:53 p.m.: Almost one hour into the 1 p.m. slate, and fans are still irate that the NFL has not completely resolved the outage.

1:42 p.m.: Some fans are still not able to access RedZone. Many paid customers are now turning to offshore streams in order to tune in.
