Karim Adeyemi’s start to life as a Barcelona player has been slow but interesting.
The German international has had limited action so far, starting in only one of the four La Liga matches, but he has certainly impressed whenever given the chance.
In total, Adeyemi has featured in less than 200 minutes of action, but he already has two goals and one assist to his name.

In a recent interview with Qui Thi Jugues, Adeyemi was asked about his limited game-time at Barcelona so far.
“It’s not easy to have minutes,” Adeyemi admitted, before highlighting his impressive strike rate despite the lack of starts. Indeed, having started just two of Barcelona’s five matches, he has scored in both.
The forward made clear he is simply happy to contribute whenever called upon. “In the end I’m always happy to be here and help the team, it’s a pleasure,” he added.
Reflecting on his first big European night in a Barcelona shirt, Adeyemi could barely contain his delight.
“It’s an indescribable feeling, an unimaginable night,” he said, adding that he “can’t wait to help the team more often by playing more games here.”
Praise for Barcelona’s quality and Yamal

Adeyemi was also full of admiration for the attacking quality within the squad, which has seen Barcelona score five goals in four of their matches this season.
“It does not surprise me, we have great quality and everyone wants to score goals,” the German explained, attributing the free-scoring form to “the high expectations that they and Flick have.”
He reserved special praise for Lamine Yamal, who also got on the scoresheet against Feyenoord and continues to shine for Barcelona.
Adeyemi described playing alongside the teenager as “a pleasure,” adding: “He can score many goals and make a lot of assists.”
Yamal has also recently received praise from Rafael Yuste, who has endorsed the young forward for the Ballon d’Or.
