With speculation mounting over a potential move away from KwaZulu-Natal, it remains to be seen where Dion will end up should he leave Arrows.
Former PSL striker Brice Aka has advised Dion to consider the financial side of his next move, particularly with big clubs such as Chiefs and Pirates reportedly showing interest.
“I’m sure he is dreaming of a big team now,” Aka told KickOff.
“So, while football is a short career and he needs to make financial decisions, for now he belongs to Arrows and so needs no drama and sour grapes.
“I’m glad he respects his contract and is doing the job for Arrows as per his employment contract,” he added.
Chiefs and Pirates targeting Dion
Dion has continued to impress for Arrows since joining the club, scoring more than 20 goals and becoming one of the most sought-after strikers in South African football.
There were reports of interest from North Africa during the pre-season, and a move abroad could now be a possibility.
Such a departure would be a major blow to both Chiefs and Pirates, who are understood to be in the market for a proven goalscorer and could see Dion as an ideal addition to their squads.
