Boston is reportedly closing in on a trade for Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman, per multiple reports. Jared Carrabis first reported the news.

The trade is reportedly hung up in the medical review stage, something the Yankees were reportedly concerned about.
The switch-hitting catcher was placed on the 10-day injury list on July 20 due to left wrist inflammation.
Rutschman is batting .251 with eight homers and 47 RBI with a .764 OPS.
The Yankees are looking for a right-handed-hitting catcher to bolster their offense.
The trade deadline is at 6 p.m. ET.
