Calgary police say they’ve charged a man who is alleged to have installed hidden cameras in the bathrooms and bedrooms of rental properties without the tenant’s knowledge.

Authorities say on June 8, one of the tenants allegedly noticed a small hidden camera placed on a surge protector device located in the bathroom, as well as a hidden camera found on a smoke detector in their bedroom.

The tenant notified other tenants who allegedly found similar hidden cameras in their respective bedrooms and then notified police.
