1 person dead, another critical after double shooting in Scarborough

One person is dead and another victim is fighting for their life after a Monday afternoon double shooting in North York.
Toronto Police said on social media that they responded to reports of shots fired at about 3:20 p.m. near Victoria Park Ave. and Hwy. 401, where two people were found with gunshot wounds.

They said one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim, who was found near Victoria Park and Sheppard Ave., was rushed to a hospital via an emergency run.
