Travis Kelce had a good reason for missing the Toy Story 5 premiere with his fiancée Taylor Swift.
While Swift, 36, was walking the red carpet in Los Angeles and treating the premiere's attendees to a special surprise performance of her new song "I Knew It, I Knew You" for the movie's soundtrack on Tuesday, June 9, Kelce was with the Kansas City Chiefs at mandatory minicamp.

Chiefs players were required to report to the camp from June 9 through June 11, and the team shared a video of their star tight end out on the field. "87 at work," the Chiefs wrote on social media alongside a clip of Kelce, 36, catching a football in his Chiefs gear.

Travis will be in Los Angeles in the coming days, however, as he and his brother Jason Kelce are scheduled to record a live episode of their New Heights podcast at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown L.A. on June 15.
Travis and the Chiefs will report to training camp in late July.
In addition to her new song, Swift also performed a duet of "You've Got a Friend in Me" with Randy Newman at the premiere on Tuesday.
"It means the world to me to be a small part of the universe of these films," she told the audience.
In May, Travis made an exciting announcement when he revealed his purchase of a minority stake in the Cleveland Guardians.

"I have so much love for this city," he told ESPN. Travis added, "I've been lucky enough to have a front-row seat to good ownership in my career, and I know the best teams prioritize culture. Everyone is there to play their role, and right now, I'm here to observe and learn and really to support the team and the city when and where I can."
“This is a way that I can always cement myself back into the east side of Cleveland,” Travis told Jason on an episode of New Heights after the news. “It’s a dream come true for a Cleveland kid. Any Cleveland kid would be through the roof right now and I’m happy to be the honorable one to get to do it for us.”
