Former Green Bay Packers running back Harry Sydney is among three new director nominees to be chosen at the annual shareholders meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. July 27 at Lambeau Field. The three director nominees are Sydney, Glen Tellock and Robert Weyers.

Training camp will begin that week as well, with that information to be announced later.

Sydney had a six-year career at running back, playing for the San Francisco 49ers and the Packers, and a six-year career as an NFL coach. He was on three Super Bowl teams, including two as a player with San Francisco and one as a coach with Green Bay. He also was coach of the Green Bay West High School football team for three years after leaving the NFL and is founder of My Brother's Keeper, a mentoring program for boys and men.

Tellock is the former president and CEO of Lakeside Foods in Manitowoc. Before that, he was chairman, president and CEO of The Manitowoc Co.

Weyers is co-owner of Commercial Horizons, a property development company that partnered with the Packers on Titletown district projects, among its other investments.

"They each bring unique perspectives and valuable experience, from Harry's background in the NFL and mentorship programs to Glen's success leading businesses and Bob's entrepreneurial accomplishments," Packers Chairman, President and CEO Ed Policy said in the release announcing the meeting.

The Packers board of directors consists of 40 to 45 members. Directors must retire when they turn 70. None are slated for retirement this year.

The Packers are the only team in the NFL owned by fans. Approximately 5,204,625 shares are owned by 538,967 stockholders. Shares do not pay dividends and cannot be publicly traded. They can be handed down to family members.

The meeting will open with presentations by Policy and general manager Brian Gutekunst, who provides some basic information about the roster, but nothing that can be put to any good or nefarious use. Their appearances will be followed by the leaders of the organization's various committees, including the financial report. It is, after all, an actual business meeting.

This will be Policy's first meeting as leader of the organization. He succeeded Mark Murphy after last year's meeting.

The meeting likely will last around an hour and a half.

More than 6,500 people attended the 2025 meeting.

Proxy statements will be mailed or emailed to shareholders in mid- to late June. Shareholders will receive four annual meeting tickets for each shareholder account.
