Banana Ball founder Jessie Cole introduced a special guest, New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara, who joined the game as a pinch runner for the Bananas. Kamara came on the field to loud cheers and dancing to Walk It Out by UKN with Bananas’ choreographer and dancer Maceo Harrison.Â
Kamara is no stranger to Neyland Stadium, playing football at the University of Tennessee for 2 seasons (2015 and 2016) and rushing for 1,977 yards from scrimmage with 23 total touchdowns in 24 games.
The Savannah Bananas are already fan favorites in New Orleans, playing two back-to-back sold-out games in the Caesars Superdome in March, which featured guest appearances by current Saints QB Tyler Shough and former Saints and soon to be Hall of Fame QB Drew Brees.
