Johnson made his first All-Star selection during the 2025-26 season, averaging 22.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.2 steals. As a result, he was named to the All-NBA Third Team, alongside Tyrese Maxey (76ers), Jamal Murray (Nuggets), Chet Holmgren (Thunder) and Jalen Duren (Pistons).

The second team consisted of Jaylen Brown (Celtics), Kawhi Leonard (Clippers), Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers), Kevin Durant (Rockets) and Jalen Brunson (Knicks). That meant Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder), Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), Victor Wembanyama (Spurs), Luka Doncic (Lakers) and Cade Cunningham (Pistons) made the All NBA First Team.
