The Tennessee Titans already have their franchise quarterback, Cam Ward. Could they target their franchise running back in the 2026 NFL Draft?

There's only one RB on the board considered to be at that level: Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love. To get him, the Titans would have to use the No. 4 overall pick on Love.

In the modern NFL, that's very, very early to take a running back, so it's a bit of a conundrum for the Titans.

Love has visited Tennessee. They've clearly done their homework. But when the draft arrives later this month, it likely still won't be a given what the Titans end up doing at the fourth pick.

Will Titans draft Jeremiyah Love at 4th pick in NFL Draft?

At the moment, the simplest answer here is that it's possible.

It's not a given, because of the positional value and because the Titans have plenty of other needs to fill.

But Love is that good, and the Titans are certainly interested.

"It's very possible," ESPN's Turron Davenport wrote in a new article on Thursday. The idea of adding a playmaker who can help Cam Ward and the offense score more points is intriguing, especially with Love being a three down-back who the Titans feel fits the mold of Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs."

Tennessee's other needs, and maybe the preferences of head coach Robert Saleh, might be working against a Love pick.

"Although Titans coach Robert Saleh has preached the importance of a strong running game for a young quarterback, he's a defensive-minded coach who loves to rotate the defensive line," Davenport wrote. "Tennessee needs an impactful edge rusher in that rotation, which makes David Bailey (Texas Tech) an attractive option. One wild card to look out for is linebacker Sonny Styles (Ohio State) because of the length, speed and playmaking ability he brings to a defense."

Love would be a fun guy to pair with Ward for the long haul, but it's not yet clear if the duo will actually materialize.
