The Frozen Four is finally here. After a long layoff, the Wisconsin Badgers are set to take on North Dakota to kick off the Frozen Four on Thursday, looking to make their way to the NCAA Championship Game.

It’s been quite a year for the Badgers. They had some memorable early-season moments with sweeps of Minnesota and Michigan State, while splitting a road series with Michigan. But they struggled a bit in the second half of the season, getting swept by the Spartans, Penn State, and Minnesota in three consecutive series.

That put their playoff hopes in jeopardy, but Wisconsin had a good end to the season with a split series against Michigan and a sweep of Penn State to cement their status in the playoff field. As a No. 3 seed, they took on No. 2 Dartmouth, beating them 5-1 with a four-goal third period.

Then came the big upset, as the Badgers beat the No. 1 seed Spartans 4-3 in overtime with a Ben Dexheimer goal to get them into the Frozen Four.

Now, it’s on to the big challenge, as they’ll take on the 29-9-1 Fighting Hawks, who beat Merrimack and Quinnipiac to get to the Frozen Four.

Here’s how you can watch Thursday’s game.
