The debut marks a new chapter not only for the Rage, but also for the local sports scene, as Claremore becomes a host site for one of the fastest-growing levels of the game.
The Rage enter the season with momentum after a standout 2025 campaign in the Women’s Football Alliance.
They captured the American Conference championship and lost in the national title game, finishing 8-1 overall. Now, the Rage transition into the American Women’s Football League in search of another deep postseason run.
Saturday’s opener begins a sixgame regular season slate before the postseason, with a mix of home and road matchups stretching into early June.
Following their opener against Houston, the Rage will hit the road April 18 to face Tacoma Grit in a 7 p.m. kickoff. They return home May 9 to take on the River City Warriors under the lights at Lantow Field.
The schedule then shifts back to the road for consecutive weeks, with trips to Gulf Coast Mystery on May 16 and Rocket City Patriots on May 30, both set for 7 p.m. starts.
The Rage will close the regular season at home June 6 against Dallas Lady Prime at 7 p.m.
