The Los Angeles Rams had arguably the most efficient run game in 2025. Powered by Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, L.A. rushed for the seventh-most yards in the NFL this past season with 2,152.

Despite this success, there have been rumblings that the Rams could look at trying to trade up for Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love after meeting with him at the NFL combine. However, The Athletic's Nate Atkins doesn't think the Rams will change their running back group in 2026.
"The likelihood is this is the group to handle a run-heavy approach again this season," Atkins wrote, referencing Williams, Corum and Jarquez Hunter. "The question will be whether Hunter can find any playing time after a rookie season in which the 2025 fourth-round pick was active for just five games and did not see an offensive snap."
Running back was not an area of concern for the Rams, so it makes sense that they would stick with their current group rather than try to fix something that wasn't broken. Especially if it would cost them draft capital to move up.
However, the Rams have drafted at least one running back every year since 2018. So, even if the Rams don't take a running back at No. 13, they could still snag one in the later rounds.
