According to veteran insider James Palmer, the Kansas City Chiefs appear to be targeting the wide receiver position ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline.

In a November 2 post to Twitter, Palmer revealed Kansas City's interest in adding a new pass-catcher, though a blockbuster trade has not yet materialized for the Chiefs.

Injuries to wideouts Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice hampered Kansas City's passing game early in the season, and while the latter has returned to the field, the Chiefs' receiving corps still has a clear need for another experienced presence as the team's 2026 campaign approaches its midpoint.

This year, the NFL's trade deadline falls on November 10, so Kansas City's front office only has a few more days to make a move that lands Patrick Mahomes another viable target.

Stay tuned to find out if Chiefs general manager Brett Veach can get a deal done, or if Kansas City will ultimately elect to skip its chance to bring in new talent.
