Browns sign Carsen Ryan to active roster ahead of Week 9
· Yahoo Sports
A couple of weeks ago, the Cleveland Browns waived seventh-round pick Carsen Ryan from their active roster and then signed him back to their practice squad after he cleared waivers. The team elevated him a couple of times on game day, and after they waived running back Audric Estime earlier this week, they replaced him on the active roster by signing Carsen Ryan off the practice squad.
The Vikings signed Estime earlier in the year off the practice squad, and he got some run in a game before he was waived and ultimately claimed off waivers by this week's opponent, the New Orleans Saints. It'll be interesting to see if the Saints use Estime at all against the Browns after claiming him this week.

To fill the practice squad spot left by Ryan, the Browns brought back another running back who has spent time on New England's practice squad this season: Hassan Haskins. Haskins is in his fifth season out of Michigan and has appeared in 44 career games.
