That has caught everyone’s eye, including Draymond Green’s, who did not expect to see what he has seen from Boozer so far this season.

Draymond Green reveals what has shocked him about Cameron Boozer

Boozer has always been a very talented player at the high school and college levels, and many people watched his quality at that stage.

Some even believed that he could translate those performances to the NBA, but not many would’ve predicted that he would make such an immediate impact.

Green is one of them. He has claimed that he watched young Boozer at lower levels and was aware of his qualities. But the way he has impacted the games in the NBA so far has come as a real shock.

He said on The Draymond Green Show: “Speaking of Cam Boozer, I watched him a few times in high school, watched him in college. All those years, he was a smart basketball player, good rebounder, positional player and all those things.

“I had no clue he could move the way he moved, shoot the way he shoots. Like I thought he’d be a 20 and 10 guy anyway. I didn’t think it’d be like this, though, like this type of 20 and 10, where it’s threes, it’s off the bounce, it’s off the post, offensive boards.

“To go up against him for the first time, very strong, doesn’t back down from a challenge. He talks out there on the floor. I didn’t know it would be all that. That piece was shocking to me. I’m excited about Cam Boozer. I was very surprised.”

Such high praise from a four-time NBA champion and former Defensive Player of the Year like Green should not be disregarded.

This shows Boozer is a star in the making, and if he continues at the same rate, he could win the Rookie of the Year award at the end of the season.
