· Yahoo Sports
On Wednesday, Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur answered a handful of questions centered around the return of running back Josh Jacobs, who is back at practice after missing the first six weeks of the regular season while on the Commissioner's Exempt List.
While Ian Rapoport of NFL Network said Jacobs is expected to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, LaFleur has maintained his status is to be determined during the week of practice.

LaFleur's answers from his media session on Wednesday:
-- The Packers will have a walk-through practice on Wednesday and normal practices on Thursday and Friday. Are two practices enough to know if Jacobs is ready to play Sunday against the Lions? LaFleur gave no indication. "We'll see. We'll work through it."
-- LaFleur is confident Jacobs has the conditioning to immediately play in a regular season game. While not able to practice, Jacobs has been in the building throughout the regular season and working with the strength and conditioning staff. "I think I have a pretty good feel. He's been working with our strength coaches."
-- On getting Jacobs back on the field with the team: "It was great to have him back out there."
-- On Jacobs returning after pleading no contest to two misdemeanors: "I think a lot of times you get into a situation where you might not make the right decision. I think people learn from their mistakes. And I think he's extremely remorseful. And I do believe that he's a good person. I've been around him quite a bit. And I believe in second chances."
-- On changes in the game plan with Jacobs back: "We'll have a plan in place, whether or not he can go. And then we'll adjust from there. But yeah, I think it changes something a little bit in regards to you got a dynamic back that you want to get the ball to. Let him go to work."
