NFC West standings: Rams fall to last place, 4 games behind 49ers
· Yahoo Sports
Week 6 went about as poorly as possible for the Los Angeles Rams. They lost to the Arizona Cardinals, while simultaneously losing Davante Adams, Poona Ford and Kobie Turner for the foreseeable future.
Not to mention, the San Francisco 49ers pulled further ahead in the NFC West with their win over the Washington Commanders on Monday night. The only positive is that the Seattle Seahawks lost their second straight game, falling to the Denver Broncos on Thursday night, 17-14.

The Rams now sit in last place in the NFC West, falling another game behind the undefeated 49ers. After just six weeks, the Rams are now four games back of San Francisco.
Here's an updated look at the division standings through Week 6.
NFC West standings
- 49ers: 6-0 (3-0 in NFC West)
- Seahawks: 3-3 (1-1)
- Cardinals: 2-4 (1-2)
- Rams: 2-4 (0-2)
The division isn't totally out of reach for the Rams but with the way the 49ers are playing, and given Los Angeles' own injuries, they're letting the NFC West slip away quickly.
It doesn't help that the Rams have already lost to the 49ers, too, so they can't sweep San Francisco and clinch that tiebreaker in the event that they finish with the same record. They'll have to finish with a better divisional record than the 49ers in that case, which seems unlikely considering San Francisco is 3-0 and the Rams are 0-2.
The Rams have to go on a run before their Week 11 bye. They've got four winnable games coming up, one of which is a rematch against the Cardinals in Week 10. Their other opponents are the Raiders, Chargers and Commanders, who are all at or below .500.
