"We are heartbroken by the passing of Hyron. He was not only a gifted rugby player, but also a cherished member of our Lions family having recently joined us this season," club president Rudolf Straeuli said.
The club said that the match against La Rochelle on Saturday evening should go ahead, and that a minute's silence would be held in Andrews' memory.
French media reported that the rugby player had been found lifeless in a shower cubicle at the team hotel on the island of Île de Ré. Resuscitation attempts had been unsuccessful.
The cause of death is still being investigated.
The EPCR, the body responsible for Europe's major rugby cup competitions, said in a statement that it was "deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of Hyron Andrews."
