Brandon Miller to miss Hornets' preseason opener with shin injury

Prior to the Charlotte Hornets preseason opener against the Brooklyn Nets, the team released more unfortunate injury news. After losing Grant Williams, Kon Knueppel and Coby White due to injury, Charlotte announced that they'll be without both Brandon Miller and rookie Christian Anderson Jr. for Tuesday's game. Miller is sidelined with a shin contusion, while Anderson Jr. suffered a sprained ankle. Two-way players PJ Hall and Kylan Boswell are also sidelined due to injury.

Without both White and Anderson Jr., Charlotte has one active point guard remaining on their roster, recent trade acquisition Dennis Schroder. Grayson Allen and Liam McNeeley may be expected to take on ball-handling duties as well.
