"Gromtoberfest is a very good beginner contest -- we have multiple divisions," said Dominick Pierce, a GBASO Coach.
"It's a good thing for young skaters to watch these more advanced riders out here ripping, and it's a great contest for them to get along and skate together."
The event continues tomorrow, October 3, and in addition to the competition and trick contests, it holds a costume contest open to everyone.
Tomorrow includes the mini ramp contest, the street competition, and the street best trick.
