Former Real Madrid starlet Chema Andrés has this week admitted that, down the line, he is hopeful of taking his talents back to Spain’s capital.
Midfielder Chema has for his part spent the last year building a stellar reputation for himself across the continent.
Afforded a permanent departure from Real Madrid to link up with Stuttgart in the summer of 2025, the 21-year-old enjoyed a stellar debut campaign in the Bundesliga. So impressive did he look, in fact, that Brighton & Hove Albion swooped to bring an end to Chema’s time with Stuttgart after just 12 months.
The Spaniard has since gone on to feature in the Premier League on a pair of occasions, with a goal and an assist already to his name.
With such ongoing excellence comes inavitable chatter surrounding his long-term future, in particular when it comes to a potential reunion for Chema with Real Madrid.
Speaking during an interview with COPE this week, the youngster was therefore drawn on the possibility of making the move back to his former employers down the line. And Chema went on to admit:
“I hope to return in the future, but right now I’m not thinking about that.”
