Robert Griffin III has expressed his desire to return to football, and he may have found his next destination, but it is not the NFL.
The quarterback who won the Heisman Trophy in 2011, is considered to be one of the biggest ‘What if’ stories in the NFL.

After having started his career on a high note with the Washington Redskins, RG3’s career dipped due to injuries.
He retired after eight years in the league, and has since been running his own YouTube channel. But after having left the game six years ago, it seems like Griffin is ready for a comeback.
Griffin posts video showing interest in a comeback
Griffin was seen on a field throwing a football accurately into nets, with one of his daughters moving the target.
It seemed impressive for someone who has been retired for six years, but it also indicates that Griffin has been working out and getting ready for a return.
He posted the video of himself throwing the ball into the net on Instagram and wrote a caption that showed interest in making a return to the game at the age of 36.
“My girls said they want to see Daddy play football again so tell your favourite team to call,” the caption read.
Griffin did not specify his interest in any team, which is why the United Football League decided to take their chances.
They posted emoji of wide open eyes on X to indicate their interest in potentially adding RG3 to the league.
It was announced just recently that UFL is moving to 10 teams starting in 2028. Whether Griffin is going to take his talents to the UFL or not is a question only time will answer, but having him back on the field is definitely a great feeling for his fans.
