ESPN refuses to confirm Donald Trump’s appearance on College GameDay
After Clay Travis reported that Trump will appear on College GameDay on Saturday, Front Office Sports reached out to ESPN for a confirmation, but did not get a yes or no answer.
“ESPN is declining to comment on whether President Donald Trump will appear on ‘College GameDay’ in Knoxville this Saturday before Tennessee vs. Texas.”
This likely means that Travis’ report has some truth to it, but ESPN likely is not 100% sure whether the President will appear on the show yet.

Fans are split on President Donald Trump’s potential GameDay appearance
The news of Trump’s appearance and ESPN’s subsequent refusal to confirm it has led to debate among fans.
“Trump has been to many big college football games and never stopped at GameDay. It would be a Secret Service nightmare,” said one fan.
“They might genuinely not know because Trump could just show up,” said another fan about why this is still unconfirmed.
“I look forward to watching the President kick a field goal while Kirk Herbstreit holds,” joked another fan.
“ESPN has been super weird this year,” said a fan about ESPN’s reluctance to confirm the news.
“I won’t watch Gameday this weekend if that is the case,” said one upset fan.
“I’ll change the channel immediately if (he) shows up,” said another fan who was displeased with the news.
