At the midway point of the campaign, The Daily Herald highlighted the area's top players thus far, and now we're giving fans the chance to the Columbia area's top TSSAA girls soccer players at midseason.
Here are the nominees, with statistics from midseason.
Ashlan Alexander, Battle Creek, So.: Alexander led the Grizzlies with 11 goals and seven assists at midseason.
Vannya Mejia, Columbia Central, Sr.: Mejia had scored a team-high eight goals for the Lions.
Emerson Massey, Culleoka, Fr.: The freshman led Culleoka with eight goals and five assists.
Riley Howell, Independence, So.: Through six games Howell scored four goals and provided one assist.
Summer Riley, Summit, Sr.: The Florida commit was among the state's top scorers with 18 goals while also adding six assists.
Brenna Corbin, Zion Christian, Jr.: Corbin had five goals and two assists for the Eagles.
