The OKC Thunder star recently gave his two cents on why people wear watches in this era, and it was far from a normal statement.
NBA fans didn’t let it slide and made various comments on the 24-year-old’s confusing take.
“Chet Holmgren’s watch… more statement than stopwatch,” a fan wrote. While another added, “Chet Holmgren doesn’t check the time… he advertises it.”
“Dude can’t tell time,” a third fan stated. “Chet, you’re not tough,” a fourth fan told the OKC Thunder star.
“Why do they all want to sound nonchalant and speak in quotes?” a fifth fan asked.
All things considered, Holmgren’s take didn’t sit well with fans, as they thought it was fake and an attempt to sound more mature than the Thunder star is right now.
