There were plenty of highlights throughout the Central Mass. field hockey scene last week, and Jennifer Toland picked a few of the best for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Field Hockey Player of the Week.

Congratulations to Nashoba's Aubrey Christian for taking the top spot in last week's poll, recording 1,893 votes (62.1 percent), holding off Valley Tech's Ava Fenner (312 votes), Northbridge's Isabelle Stanley (208 votes) and Doherty's Karter Archer (132 votes) for the honor.

Avery Bissell, Groton-Dunstable
Bissell scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Crusaders past Oakmont Regional.
Makenzie Casey, Quabbin
Casey recorded a hat trick in a win over North Middlesex Regional.
Anthony Cianfichi, Bromfield School
Cianfichi scored six goals to lead the Trojans to a 2-0 week.
Lauren Fitzgerald, Littleton
Fitzgerald scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Tigers to a 2-0-1 week.
Maille Fluharty, St. Bernard’s
Fluharty registered a hat trick in a win over Monty Tech.
Cece Freve, Algonquin
Freve scored two goals in a win over Leominster.
Kacie Horn, Marlborough
Horn assisted on the winning goal against Groton-Dunstable Regional and had a hat trick and two assists in a win over Westborough.
Meg Hourihan, Nashoba
Hourihan scored six goals and had two assists to lead the Wolves to a 3-0 week.
Jenna Kelly, Shrewsbury
Kelly scored her first two varsity goals to lead the Colonials past Grafton.
Steph Krog, Tantasqua
Krog had a hat trick and an assist in a win over Monty Tech.
Adrianna L’Heureux, Sutton
L’Heureux assisted on the winning goal against Nipmuc Regional and scored with 7:12 left to preserve a 1-1 tie with Doherty.
Zoe Lonergan, Auburn
Lonergan scored two goals to lift the Rockets past Northbridge.
Alexis Maeder, Valley Tech
Maeder posted back-to-back shutouts and made nine saves.
Savannah Orcutt, Narragansett
Orcutt made eight saves in a shutout win over Lunenburg.
Mia Ouellette, Uxbridge
Ouellette scored a goal in each of Uxbridge’s victories and helped the Spartans extend their win streak to 36 games.
Maggie Schrader, Leicester
Schrader scored four goals and added two assists in a win over Worcester Tech.
Ireland Shea, St. Paul
Shea needed five goals and added an assist in a win over Blackstone-Millville.
Lily Thompson, Lunenburg
Thompson scored four goals and added an assist to help the Blue Knights to a 2-1 week.
