Texas A&M receiver Terry Bussey to miss rest of season after getting injured on kick return

Texas A&M wide receiver and kick returner Terry Bussey is out for the season after suffering a lower body injury on the opening play of Saturday's 31-21 loss to Kentucky, head coach Mike Elko said Monday.
Bussey returned the opening kickoff 10 yards before going down. He had to be carted off the field, and Elko said after the game the injury didn't look good.

Bussey had been a key contributor to the Aggies over the first two games of the season. He entered Saturday second on the team in receiving yards (92) and tied for second in receptions (7).
The junior also returned kicks and punts over the first two games.
Bussey's injury is a major loss for Texas A&M's receiving corps, especially if starter Ashton Bethel-Roman, who missed Saturday's game due to an injury, continues to miss games.
Quarterback Marcel Reed said it hurt to see Bussey go down after all the hard work he has put in for the Aggies. He talked to Bussey on the cart before he went into the locker room.
"I just told him I loved him," Reed said.
