Here is ourPremier League Team of the Week.
Goalkeeper: Zion Suzuki - Aston Villa
A massive first-half performance frustrated Spurs and set the foundation for an Aston Villa away win in the capital. The Japanese goalkeeper made four saves in the first half alone, and was eye-catching with his distribution again. Just 24, his potential is massive.
Centre-back: Jannick Schuster - Brentford
Marked only his second start with a big performance asBrentford blitzed Chelsea. Schuster made 12 clearances and blocked three shots, while adding an assist with a set-piece knockdown for Jaidon Anthony.
Centre-back: Bobby Thomas - Coventry
Central to Coventry’s firstPremier League points in 25 years with a commanding performance. Thomas made eight clearances, and produced a brilliant piece of defending with a goal-saving moment to hook Igor Jesus effort off the line.
Centre-back: Jeremy Jacquet - Liverpool
An impressive adaptation continued for Jacquet, who picked up the man-of-the-match accolade asLiverpool beat Bournemouth.
The Frenchman has been near faultless since arriving at Anfield, with Virgil van Dijk appearing to be enjoying working with his new defensive partner.
Midfield: Chema Andres – Brighton
‘Baby Rodri’ was all class on his first Premier League start and celebrated the occasion with his first goal for the club. Andres rose to head home Pascal Gross' corner as the Seagulls stunned champions Arsenal.
Midfield: Pascal Gross - Brighton
What a week for Pascal Gross, and what a start to the season for one of the most underrated Premier League players of this, or any, era.
Fresh from a masterclass at Manchester United, Gross ran the show as Brighton beat the champions in emphatic style. His opener against Arsenal was perfection, before a brilliant delivery for Chemas Andres to score.
Midfield: Johan Manzambi - Aston Villa
A full Premier League debut to remember for Johan Manzambi.
Manzambi who was outstanding in Aston Villa’s win at Spurs. So cool on the ball, willing to receive under pressure, and always looking to make things happen. A goal and assist were his reward for an influential outing.
Right-midfield: Antoine Semenyo - Manchester City
Whenever it felt like Manchester City were losing control against Sunderland, Semenyo’s sharpness put them back in the driving suit. Two clinical goals helped City see off Sunderland during a see-sawing classic at the Etihad.
Left-midfield: Harvey Barnes - Newcastle
Two early assists were the difference as Newcastle beat Hull, with Barnes setting up Joe Willock and Lewis Hall inside the opening seven minutes. He ran himself into the ground as Newcastle held on late on to claim an important three points.
Forward: Brian Brobbey - Sunderland
Not many opposition players score hat-tricks at the Etihad.
Brobbey’s treble came in a losing effort, but his performance was superb. Brobbey bullied Ruben Dias throughout and took all three goals with real class. Didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
Forward: Charalampos Kostoulas - Brighton
There was expectation on the teenager this season after Danny Welbeck’s exit, but Kostoulas has handled the step up to senior status.
He made it three goals in three games against Arsenal, with a stunning strike past David Raya. Earned a big ovation for another exciting display.
