Not only did the congresswoman prove she is a good sport but also that she’s in on the joke in several posts she shared on social media.
Along with her work duties on Saturday, Mace managed to get out to a college football game to catch her South Carolina Gamecocks take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
She shared a photo of herself, wearing all black, giving a thumbs up from the sidelines of Williams-Brice Stadium with the caption, “Go COCKS!”
And before the mockery could begin, Mace added, “IYKYK” (“if you now, you know”) in the comments, letting everyone know the double meaning was intended.

No more ‘nasty’ pictures, please
ICYMI (“in case you missed it”), Mace told TMZ last week that she wants men to “stop sending d*** pics,” calling the messages “nasty.”
Unsurprisingly, the South Carolina native also said she can’t imagine ever dating again.
Mace recalled how she had plenty of “suitors,” including Democrats, when photos of her extensive array of tattoos emerged , but she “turned all of them down.”
The twice-divorced mom of two grown kids admitted that it can be “lonely” and that she has “no friends” in Washington, but she keeps busy by throwing herself into her work.

She will continue to cheer on her team
The outgoing U.S. Representative Nancy Mace wraps up her final term in Congress in January, and has already launched her podcast and YouTube show, Get Maced .
Critics and haters slammed Mace’s post cheering on her native South Carolina team, which the Cocks lost 41-34.
The congresswoman fired back, posting on X: “Now women can’t cheer for a football team using their football chant at a football game.”
She added in another post: “Imagine telling an entire SEC fanbase their chant makes them mentally ill. Anyway – Go Cocks.”
In a follow-up video , Mace sarcastically “reflected” on her attendance at the college football game.
“I want you to know that I’ve unpacked your lived experiences, and I’ve centred your truth and your feelings and your feelings are valid,” Mace said in her own mocking tone in the clip, set to music straight out of an afterschool special.
“But despite all of that, I’m unburdened by what has been and so I’m going to attend the next football game and enjoy the hell out of it.”
