According to ESPN, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the seventh-best fantasy tight end going into Week 2 of the 2026 NFL regular season.

Despite the impressive 71-yard game from the 14-year veteran against the Denver Broncos on 'Monday Night Football', Kelce only managed to climb from the No. 10 to No. 7 spot in ESPN's tight end rankings for Week 2. The 11-time Pro Bowler is expected to have a significantly smaller workload in 2026 than he has had in previous seasons, which could cause problems for fantasy managers.

For those with Kelce in their lineup this week, here are his predicted stats against the Colts on 'Sunday Night Football':

TE Travis Kelce predicted stats vs Colts in Week 2

Kelce's limited usage in Week 1 didn't keep him from producing for fantasy managers. The former Cincinnati Bearcat has been a fantasy must-have since his first season in 2013. Unfortunately, he is likely well past his prime and will continue to see his stats hover around average at best. Kelce's role this season is primarily to serve as a veteran leader in the Chiefs' locker room.

To be clear, I do think Kelce is still good for a 100+ yard game or two this year, but those will be few and far between. Sunday's game against the Colts will be a great opportunity for Kelce to have one of those games. Indianapolis' defense is subpar and could give the Ohio native ample opportunities to dominate.

Still, don't expect much from Kelce today or this season. I expect Kelce to put up 5 receptions for 45 yards and zero touchdowns in Week 2.
