Oregon Ducks fans react to record-setting win vs. Portland State
· Yahoo Sports
Friday night in Eugene was about more than the final score. Sure, the Oregon Ducks blasted the Portland State Vikings, 84-0, rebounding from an ugly loss the week prior, but was it enough to restore some confidence and faith in the nervous and frustrated fanbase?

Dante Moore only needed one half of play to get back on track. He completed 19-of-23 passes for 280 yards and four touchdowns, connecting with nine different receivers. Jordon Davison punched in a pair of touchdowns early on, and the Ducks pulled away quickly.
Some of Oregon's highly touted freshmen got in on the action as well. Kendre Harrison made several blocks and catches from his tight end spot, even scoring his first touchdown. Messiah Hampton also scored his first two touchdowns, playing in place of the injured Jeremiah McClellan. Jett Washington and Davon Benjamin also combined for three interceptions.
Take a look at the reaction on social media to Oregon's dominant bounce-back victory over Portland State on Friday night.

Props to the Fans
One thing I will say about the first half – I was extremely impressed with the fans. Given what happened a week ago – and a Friday night game against possibly the worst team in the Big Sky, the fans brought a ton of energy in the first half seemingly treating the game as if it…

Dante's Stance Fixed
Geoff, don’t be silly. The success is only because Dante changed his stance https://t.co/x4e0YdnIlC

One for the Record Books
Brandon Smith scores, and Oregon has officially broken the modern-era program scoring record with 84 points tonight.

81 point was the record set back in 2023.
