WEBB CITY, MO. — The Lady Cardinals mercy-ruled the Nixa Lady Eagles 13-3 in six innings, advancing to 11-4 on the season.
Right out of the gate, Webb City wasted no time getting the bats going and finding its groove on offense.

Jayden Houston's hit found the infield gap, bringing home the first run of the ball game.
Then plays later, Chasney Brown launched the ball and it was gone for a two-run home run, making things 3-0 early on. Brown on 4 at bats an 2 hits recorded 4 RBIs for the Lady Cardinals.
Nixa took a quick break on the mound, trying to slow down Webb City's rhythm, but the Lady Cardinals were able to keep things going on offense.
Laekyn Smotherman ripped the ball to right field for a three-RBI triple. Smotherman on 3 at bats and 1 hit had 4 RBIs.
Webb City would go on to score seven more runs, sealing the deal over Nixa.
Addy Burns pitched all six innings, had 2 strikeouts, and only allowed 3 runs and 7 hits against Nixa.
