According to a report from The Athletic (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich and Real Madrid could be battling over Manchester United prospect JJ Gabriel, a 15-year-old attacking midfielder:

Bayern are among several top clubs who have courted Manchester United youngster JJ Gabriel (15), who predominantly plays as a left-winger or No 10. The player, regarded as one of the best talents in England, is asking to leave United to become a free agent.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano checked in to report that Gabriel has not been in training with United for the last two days:

🚨💣 JJ Gabriel, NOT even involved in the training sessions with Manchester United in the last 48 hours.

Decisions follows JJ Gabriel’s camp asking to leave Man Utd earlier this week.

MUFC still trying to keep him & find a way to resolve the issue.

Finally, Mario Cortegana and Laurie Whitwell from The Athletic (via @iMiaSanMia) checked back in with more information:

Real Madrid are working on a deal to sign JJ Gabriel and feel well-positioned should the player make a move. Bayern, Barcelona and PSG are also trying to recruit the 15-year-old winger. Gabriel’s father Joe O’Cearuill has two caps for the Republic of Ireland, while his mother has Cypriot heritage – Either passport would allow him to move to a foreign club on his 16th birthday.

If Bayern Munich wants the player, it will have to outbid some deep pocketed suitors.
