Arizona Cardinals place Kitan Crawford on injured reserve, sign Kalen King from practice squad

The Arizona Cardinals continue to deal with injuries in their secondary, as the team announced they have placed safety and special teams ace on injured reserve.
In a corresponding move they have signed Kalen King to the active roster from the practice squad.

In addition, the team signed cornerback Art Green and safety Jerrick Reed II to the practice squad and released wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette from the practice squad.
The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.
Green (6-1, 200) played 20 games with the Giants over the past two seasons and had five tackles on defense to go along with 13 tackles and one forced fumble on special teams. He appeared in 11 games with the Giants in 2025 and had 11 special teams tackles. The 26-year old Green entered the league with Denver in 2023 as an undrafted rookie free agent from the University of Houston and spent his first year in the NFL on the Broncos practice squad prior to joining the Giants.
Reed (5-9, 197) has appeared in 23 games (one start) in his NFL career with the Titans (2025) and Seahawks (2023-25) and has nine tackles on defense and 15 tackles on special teams. He played three games (one start) with Tennessee last season after being claimed off waivers from the Seahawks. The 26-year old Reed was a sixth-round draft pick (198th overall) of Seattle in the 2023 NFL Draft from New Mexico and played in 20 games with the Seahawks.
Green will wear jersey #23 and Reed will wear #33.
