We'd like you to choose the lohud Volleyball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital. Finalists and their credentials are listed below. The poll will remain open until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16. The winner will be announced Wednesday on lohud sports social media.
Nominees are based on play from Sept. 7-13.

Let's meet the candidates.
Mia Aquart, Lakeland
The junior outside hitter totaled 22 kills, 18 digs and four aces in victories over Mahopac and Horace Greeley.
Abby Babboni, Somers
The senior middle hitter had 10 kills, two digs, an assist and eight blocks in the last week.
Xavia Barchella, Harrison
The junior libero had 17 digs and four aces in matches against Port Chester and Fox Lane over the last week.
Shanaika Disna, Spring Valley
The freshman had 18 aces, 12 blocks and three kills and also had nine straight aces in her second varsity match.
Roxy Griffin, Hastings
The junior middle/opposite totaled 33 kills, six blocks and four aces in wins over Briarcliff and Sleepy Hollow.
Izzy Gurgigno, Hendrick Hudson
The senior outside hitter had 25 kills, six aces and 21 digs in a week where the Sailors went 3-0.
Emma McCoy, Yorktown
The sophomore outside hitter had 15 digs, 12 kills and five aces in a five-set defeat to John Jay-East Fishkill, and had 10 aces, 18 kills and 11 digs in a five-set loss to Somers. Against Somers, McCoy served 15 straight points in the fourth set, including her 10 aces.
Kristen Schmid, Nanuet
The senior libero had 40 digs against Clarkstown South and 18 digs against Irvington over the last week.
Julia Wolff, Port Chester
The senior setter had seven aces, four kills, 40 assists and 13 digs over the last week.
