U.S. tourist warns Americans after driving on Toronto-area highway: 'DO NOT DRIVE IN CANADA'

After driving on a Toronto highway, a U.S. tourist took to social media to warn his fellow Americans: “Do not drive in Canada.”

According to BlogTO , Stephen Bailey has been in town from North Carolina visiting his long-distance girlfriend and posting clips on his Instagram ( @7thgen_coupe ) about Toronto. But driving on Ontario’s 400-series highways seemed to have left one of the biggest impressions on him.
“Check this out right here: If you can’t drive, do not drive in Canada, I’m gonna tell you that right now,” Baily says in an Instagram video while driving on the 403 in Oakville as cars go flying past him. “Everybody be flyin’, bruh. That’s all they do round here, bruh.”
Local reaction
The clip, predictably, prompted plenty of comments.
“Toronto is an hour away from Toronto no time can be wasted,” posted one user.
“ Lmao come out that left lane if u ain’t goin 130km/h +,” posted another.
“ That boy in Toronto. Dem Toronto boys stay put that foot on the pedal,” another comment said.
The clip came hot on the heels of the province increasing speed limits from 100 km/h to 110 km/h on almost all of the highway system.

Bailey has also posted other clips on his Instagram about life in Toronto. He’s been on a TTC streetcar and subway, flashed some cash at Downsview Park Merchants Market, had some street eats at Yonge and Dundas Sts., smoked a cigarillo in Kensington Market and even tried out a McCain Deep ‘N Delicious cake.
