Residents of The Dominion neighborhood in far Northwest San Antonio will soon be getting a new neighbor: Julian Champagnie.

The 25-year-old San Antonio Spurs forward bought a home listed for $3.1 million in the gated posh community off Interstate 10, outside Loop 1604, CultureMap San Antonio reported. Set behind a guard-gated entrance, Champagnie's new one-story, ranch-style home features five beds and five and a half baths sprawled across 5,000 square feet on a half-acre lot, according to HAR.com, a real estate listing service.

The home's interior offers a "sophisticated palette of white oak flooring, marble, brick-laid porcelain tile, [and] exotic stone surfaces," according to the listing, which has been removed from the site.

Its entryway opens to a living room decorated in gray and beige with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and tall glass windows overlooking a furnished outdoor seating area.

The home's kitchen boasts a large waterfall island and Thermador appliances, according to CultureMap, an online lifestyle news publication. Tucked behind it is a separate prep kitchen with an additional refrigerator, sink, oven, dishwasher and microwave. The home features a glass wine room, walk-in closets and a game room with a full wet bar. Sinks line both sides of the en-suite bathroom, which also includes a rain shower, garden tub and an armchair.

Backyard highlights include a patio, bath seating, a pool and a spa.

Champagnie's new zip code features luxury spas, fitness centers, fine dining and boutiques, according to HAR.com. Neighborhood residents can also access private golf courses, tennis courts and swimming pools in the area's country clubs.

"This opulent part of Texas is renowned for its grand residences, esteemed communities, and high-end facilities," the real estate site says.

Champagnie's new residence was constructed in 2021 by luxury building company Burdick Custom Homes and sold by Binkan Cinaroglu of Kuber Sotheby's International Realty.
