Mercedes' Russell fastest in final practice for F1 Italian GP

George Russell of Mercedes topped the final practice for the Formula One Italian Grand Prix at the iconic Monza circuit on Saturday.
Russell clocked 1 minute 22.219 seconds, beating the Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton by 0.226 seconds. Red Bull's Max Verstappen was third, while championship leader Kimi Antonelli was fourth in the second Mercedes.

Ferrari fan favourite Charles Leclerc was sixth behind the McLaren of defending champion Lando Norris.
Qualifying for Sunday's race is later on Saturday.
Antonelli tops the standings 59 points ahead of Russell, but the Italian driver is not expected to fight for the win in Monza as he's set to receive a hefty grid penalty due to a planned engine change.
