DOVER — St. Thomas Aquinas senior center Wade Mitchell was voted by the community as 2026 Seacoast high school Football Offensive Preseason Player of the Year.

Mitchell won the online poll by receiving 52.6% of the 15,949 votes. Marshwood senior running back Greg Castoras placed second with 34.7%, and Dover senior running back Ben King (9.3%) was third.
"Wade is a young man that is not only an outstanding student- athlete on the football field, but one who is involved in many other areas of the school," St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Scott Bray said. "He is genuinely admired by both his peers and teachers. Getting this honor is a product of his character."
