Members of Parliament Shri. Shyamkumar Barve (Ramtek), Shri. Amar Kale (Wardha), Smt. Pratibha Suresh Dhanorkar (Chandrapur), Shri. Durga Das Uikey (Betul), Shri. Bunty Vivek Sahu (Chhindwara), Shri. Bhaskar Murlidhar Bhagre (Dindori), Smt. Smita Uday Wagh (Jalgaon), Anup Sanjay Dhotre, (Akola), Balwant Baswant Wankhede (Amravati), Shri. Dnyaneshwar Patil (Khandwa), Shri. Anil Bonde ( Rajya Sabha, Amravati) participated in the meeting.
Earlier, the General Manager welcomed the Members of Parliament with shawl and Shrifal and highlighted the achievements of Central Railway.
K. K. Mishra, Deputy General Manager Central Railway conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
Vinayak Garg, Divisional Railway Manager, Nagpur and Shri. Punit Agrawal, Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusaval gave detailed presentations on the achievements of Nagpur and Bhusaval Division respectively.
Hon'ble Members of Parliament raised various demands pertaining to their constituencies overall improvements and also appreciated the steps taken by Railways for improving passenger convenience through various schemes and trains like Station Redevelopment, 3rd & 4th line working, Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Vande Bharat express, Amrit Bharat Express and Special trains. The questions raised by Members of Parliament were satisfactorily answered and assurance for incorporating their suggestions for the overall improvement & increasing passenger convenience was given.
