Trojans hire long time assistant coach Chase Buchanan as head baseball coach

BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Long-time John Battle Baseball assistant coach Chase Buchanan has been named the next head coach of the John Battle Trojans, the John Battle Athletic Department announced Tuesday evening.

Buchanan has been on the Trojans staff since 2009.
Buchanan is a 2002 Tazewell High School graduate and played baseball at Virginia Intermont University.
