Texas tackle Trevor Goosby cleared to practice, expected to start season opener

AUSTIN - Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian announced that both All-American left tackle Trevor Goosby and left guard Laurence Seymore III have been medically cleared and returned to practice Monday.
"Both practiced today," Sarkisian said. "I thought they both looked really good, so that's a real positive for us."

Goosby, a 6-foot-7, 325-pound junior, suffered a bone bruise in his left knee in a no-contact drill two weeks ago, but has made significant progress and appears likely to play Saturday. Seymore, a 6-4, 335-pound junior, had an undisclosed injury and is likely to share time at left guard with Oregon State transfer Dylan Sikorski.
