RB Leipzig poised to net €3m profit on quick flip of Nigerian winger

RB Leipzig are reportedly close to selling Nigerian winger Suleman Sani to Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah after the two clubs reached an agreement over an €8m transfer package. According to Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger, the agreed fee includes easily obtainable performance-related bonuses. Final approval from the player is still required before the move can be completed, but the deal is now described as close.
The prospective transfer represents an unusual piece of business for Leipzig given that Sani has yet to make a single competitive appearance for the Bundesliga club.
