OLISA NDAH CHOOSES REGULAR GAME TIME
Mamelodi Sundowns were reportedly interested in signing him to strengthen their defence under head coach Miguel Cardoso.
However, the proposed move to Chloorkop ultimately fell through.
The Brazilians had already exhausted their foreign player allocation. That left Ndah facing an uncertain future despite interest from the reigning South African champions.

Ndah has now opted for a fresh start in North Africa. His move to Al Shomooa SC is understood to be driven by the need for regular football and a chance to rebuild his career.
The decision also means Ndah will not proceed with his plans to qualify for South African citizenship. The Nigerian defender arrived in South Africa in August 2021 when he joined Orlando Pirates. He was due to become eligible to apply for citizenship in September.
His agent, Mike Makaab, confirmed that leaving South Africa means Ndah will lose that opportunity. However, the decision was made with his football career firmly in mind.
Ndah wants to return to full fitness and put himself back in contention for the Nigeria national team.
OLISA NDAH LEAVES ORLANDO PIRATES LEGACY
Ndah leaves behind a strong legacy in South African football. The centre-back spent four-and-a-half years with Orlando Pirates, making more than 80 competitive appearances for the Buccaneers.
He also played an important role during a successful period for the Soweto giants. Ndah helped Orlando Pirates win four major trophies, including back-to-back MTN8 titles.
His final period at Mayfair was disrupted by injuries before he joined Stellenbosch FC. He spent six months with the Cape Winelands outfit under head coach Gavin Hunt.
Now, the defender begins another chapter with Al Shomooa SC. The move gives Ndah the opportunity to get consistent minutes, regain his rhythm and revive his international ambitions as he prepares for the new Libyan Premier League campaign.
